A beautiful, moving and full of breathtaking landscapes, a story about a boy whose sad life in an orphanage in suburbs of Paris changes when he goes to a farm. Film ode to the world of nature and a simple life directed by Nicolas Vanier - a valued creator of the family hit "Bella and Sebastian". One of the main roles is known from the hit comedy "Untouchables" - François Cluzet. A story inspired by the autobiographical motifs of the director who grew up in the Sologne region portrayed in the film.
Paul's life (Jean Scandel) was from the beginning limited by the high walls of the orphanage - a harsh building, located on the working class suburbs of Paris. His life was dominated by fear and melancholy. The fate of the boy changes when he comes under the protection of Célestine (Valérie Karsenti) and Borel (Éric Elmosnino), living in green forests, misty lands and vast fields belonging to Count de la Fresnaye (François Berléand). On the spot he meets the eccentric poet Totoche (François Cluzet), from whom he learns about life, he learns the secrets of nearby forests, and discovers that his arrival in the Sologne region was not accidental.
Film presented as part of the Frajda Film Festival for Children and Youth.
